howzzit
Small hops. Every day.
howzzit is a private, offline habit tracker for Android. Build good habits, quit the ones holding you back, reach goals with deadlines and reward yourself, with everything kept encrypted on your phone.
How to install
- On your Android phone, tap Download for Android, or scan the QR code with the phone's camera. Then tap Install.
- When Android asks, allow your browser to install apps.
- Open howzzit. It's a test version: before switching to the Google Play version later, use Back up my data in Profile so you can restore everything.

What you can do
Build and quit habits
Daily, on set days or a few times a week. Count days free from something you're quitting, or track amounts like water, pages or minutes.
Goals with deadlines
Link habits to a goal like 12 books by January and see whether you're on track, with reminders before the deadline.
Rewards you earn
Add treats to a wishlist and unlock them when you hit a streak or reach a goal.
Home screen widgets
Nine widgets: streaks, days free, today's ring and list, a month calendar, goals, quick tick and your next treat.
Private by design
No account, no ads, no tracking. Data stays on your phone in an encrypted database. Hide personal habits behind a PIN or fingerprint.
Encrypted backups
Back up everything to one password-protected file and restore it on a new phone, choosing what to keep when items differ.
