Last updated: 1 November 2026

howzzit does not collect, send or sell any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your phone, encrypted.

Who we are

howzzit is a habit, goal and reward tracker made by Felix Dusengimana in Kigali, Rwanda. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the app.

What the app stores

To work, howzzit keeps the following only on your device:

This data is saved in an encrypted database. The encryption key is kept in your phone's secure storage.

What we collect

Nothing. howzzit has no account, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not connect to the internet.

Permissions

Private habits are hidden behind your PIN or biometrics, and screenshots are blocked while the app shows private content.

Sharing

We do not share data with anyone. If you use Export, the app creates a file and opens Android's share menu; where that file goes is your choice.

Deleting your data

You can delete habits, goals and rewards in the app. Uninstalling howzzit or clearing its storage removes all of its data from the phone. Because we hold no copy, we cannot recover it.

Children

howzzit is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
